The client owned this small pair ofsemi-detached B1 units which due to the economic downturnhad proved commercially unviable.  The brief was to convert this building into four one bedroom flats under prior notification which saved valuable time and avoided the usual planning delay in securing planning consent.

As the new super hospital is very near ,  the new accommodation is aimed at essential single statusworkers who need to be near the hospital .  Each flat provides a kitchen / living room, shower/w,c and a double bedroom.

The footprint of the building was such particularly careful spatial planning was needed to achieve workable layouts.
